Old Tom 50cl Gin

Old Tom was the favourite Gin at the beginning of the Gin Place Era which more or less coincided with the reign of Queen Victoria. The first Gin to use marketing and register a trade mark, it had sugar and spices added to make it more palatable, was drunk neat stood up in magnificent gas-lit, mirrored “Palaces”but was soon replaced by the less sweet London Dry Gin.
